What is Buziin?
Buziin is a business app for quotations, invoices, sales, stock, expenses, projects and reports, built for Tanzanian businesses. Everything is in TZS with 18% VAT, in English or Kiswahili.
Who is Buziin for?
Contractors and builders, interior design and fit-out companies, shops and wholesalers, and service businesses. See Solutions for how each one uses it.
Which phones does it work on?
iPhone and Android. A connected business can be used on several phones and tablets at once, mixing iPhone and Android.
Can I download Buziin now?
Not yet. Buziin is getting ready to launch on the App Store and Google Play. Download links will appear on this site as soon as the apps are live.
Using Buziin
Does Buziin work without internet?
Yes. You can keep selling, quoting and invoicing offline. Records are saved on the phone and sync when you are back online.
Does Buziin take payments from my customers?
No. Buziin is a record-keeping tool: you record payments received by M-Pesa, Airtel Money, Mixx by Yas, HaloPesa, bank, cash or card. It does not move money and is not a bank or payment provider.
Does it handle VAT?
Yes. VAT at 18% is calculated on quotations, invoices and sales, and your TIN appears on every document. Buziin does not give tax advice, so check figures with your accountant before filing.
Can I print receipts?
Yes, on Bluetooth and network ESC/POS receipt printers, and on USB printers with Android. The cash drawer can be opened from the receipt printer.
How do I add my team?
In the app, go to More → Staff & Team and invite by email or link. Each person signs in with their own account, and you choose what they can see and do. How many people you can add depends on your plan.
Plans & billing
Is there a free trial?
Every new business gets a 14-day Business trial. After it ends the business moves to the Free plan unless you subscribe. Your records are never deleted when a trial or plan ends.
How do I pay for a plan?
Subscriptions are bought inside the app and billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), monthly or yearly. The store shows the final price before you confirm. See Pricing.
How do I cancel?
Subscriptions bought in the app are managed by Apple or Google. On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.
Your data
Is my data backed up?
Connected businesses are stored on Buziin's servers and sync across your devices. A business kept "on this phone only" stays on the device, so download a copy now and then from More → Privacy & Account Data.
How do I get a copy of my data?
In the app, go to More → Privacy & Account Data → Download. For a full copy including attached files, tap Request a full copy or email support@buziin.com. We answer within 30 days.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: More → Privacy & Account Data → Delete Account. If you can't open the app, send a request from Delete your account.
Do you sell my data or show ads?
No. Buziin doesn't sell your information and uses no advertising or third-party analytics tools. Read the Privacy Policy.
