1. Who we are

Buziin ("we", "us") is operated by [company legal name: pending], [registered address: pending], Tanzania (registration no. [registration number: pending]). Contact: support@buziin.com. Where the law requires one, our data protection officer can be reached at support@buziin.com.

2. What Buziin does

Buziin is a business-management app for quotations, invoices, sales, stock, expenses, projects and reports. You can use it in two ways:

On this phone only. Your account and business records stay on your device. We receive nothing, except the app store's own purchase records if you subscribe.
Connected to Buziin online. Your account and business records are stored on our servers so that you can use them on several devices and share them with your team.

3. Information we collect (connected accounts)

Account information: your name, email address, optional phone number, and password (stored only as a one-way hash).
Business information: business name, category, address, TIN, logo, currency and tax settings.
Business records you enter: quotations, invoices, payments, expenses, sales, products, stock, projects, notes and attachments, plus details of your own customers and suppliers (names, phone numbers, emails, addresses). You decide what you enter. For your customers' data you are the data controller and we process it on your behalf.
Team information: the people you invite, their roles and permissions.
Device information: a random device identifier created by the app, device name and model, app version, push notification token, IP address and sign-in times, used for sync, your signed-in devices list and security.
Subscription information: your plan, trial dates, and purchase records verified with Apple or Google (we never receive your card details).

We do not collect your location, your phone's address book, messages, or health data. We use no advertising or third-party analytics tools, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

4. Device permissions

Camera: only when you tap Scan, to read product barcodes. Images are processed on the device and not stored or uploaded.
Bluetooth / USB: only to print receipts to a printer you have paired or plugged in.
Notifications: to send invoice reminders and payment alerts. You can turn them off in the app or in your phone settings.
Photos / files: only the receipt files you choose to attach.

5. How we use information

To provide the app (store, sync and back up your records), to manage your account and team, to verify subscriptions, to send account emails (verification codes, password resets) and the notifications you enable, to keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your information.

Only with service providers who process data on our behalf under contract: our hosting provider ([hosting provider and region: pending]), our email provider (Resend), Google Firebase and Apple Push Notification service (to deliver notifications), Apple and Google (to process subscriptions), and, where you choose web checkout outside the app stores, Selcom or Flutterwave. We disclose information if the law requires it. If the business is sold, we will notify you first.

7. Where data is stored

On our servers in [data location: pending]. Where data is transferred outside Tanzania, we use providers with appropriate safeguards, as the Personal Data Protection Act, 2022 requires.

8. How long we keep it

Account data: until you delete your account. We then remove your name, email, phone number and password, and keep only an anonymous placeholder, so that the business records you created keep their history.
Business records: for as long as the business is active in Buziin. When the owner closes a business, it is locked straight away and nobody can open it any more. Its financial records (invoices, payments, receipts, expenses, sales) are kept until 7 years after closure where tax and accounting law requires it, and are then reviewed for deletion. We do not delete financial records before that date unless the law allows it.
Privacy and deletion requests: a record of the request (what was asked, when and how it was answered) is kept for as long as we keep the records it relates to.
Backups: up to 30 days after deletion.
Device sign-in records: up to 12 months.

9. Your rights and choices

You can see and correct your information in the app and turn notifications off. Under More → Privacy & Account Data you can download, at any time and without asking us:

Phone copy: every business record stored on that phone, as a JSON file.
Account data (connected accounts): your profile, the businesses you belong to and your role, your signed-in sessions and devices, your notification settings and your privacy requests, as a JSON file.
Business data (business owners and managers): the business profile, team, plan history, every synced record including deleted ones, and a list of attached files, as a JSON file.

You can also share any document as a PDF. For anything the downloads don't include (for example the attached files themselves, or the records of a business that has been closed), use Request a full copy in the same screen or email support@buziin.com. We answer within 30 days.

To delete your account, go to More → Privacy & Account Data → Delete Account, follow the steps at https://buziin.com/delete-account, or email support@buziin.com. We confirm requests made outside the app by email before acting on them. When you delete an account we remove your name, email, phone and password, sign you out on every device, remove your devices from notifications, and erase the business copy stored on that phone. If you own a business, you will first be asked to transfer it to a team member or close it, because its records also belong to your team and may be needed for tax purposes. App Store and Google Play subscriptions are not cancelled by deleting the account; cancel them in your Apple or Google account. You may also ask us to access, correct, port or restrict your data, or object to its use, and you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Tanzania.

10. Security

Data travels only over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are hashed. Access is limited by role, and administrator accounts use two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure. Please use a strong password and keep your phone locked.

11. Children

Buziin is a business tool for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect children's data.

12. Changes

We will post updates here and tell you in the app or by email when the change is significant.

Unaweza kuitumia kwenye simu hii tu, ambapo rekodi zako zinabaki kwenye kifaa chako na sisi hatupokei chochote. Au unaweza kuitumia ukiwa umeunganishwa na Buziin mtandaoni, ambapo akaunti na rekodi zako zinahifadhiwa kwenye seva zetu ili uzitumie kwenye vifaa kadhaa na timu yako.

3. Taarifa tunazokusanya. Jina, barua pepe, namba ya simu (si lazima) na nenosiri (linahifadhiwa kwa njia ya siri isiyorudishika); taarifa za biashara (jina, anwani, TIN, nembo); rekodi unazoingiza (nukuu, ankara, malipo, matumizi, mauzo, bidhaa, akiba, miradi, wateja na wasambazaji wako); timu yako; kitambulisho cha kifaa, jina la kifaa, toleo la programu, tokeni ya arifa, anwani ya IP na nyakati za kuingia; na taarifa za usajili zilizothibitishwa na Apple au Google (hatupokei taarifa za kadi yako). Hatukusanyi mahali ulipo, orodha ya anwani za simu, ujumbe wala taarifa za afya. Hatutumii matangazo wala zana za kufuatilia.

4. Ruhusa za kifaa. Kamera ni kwa kuchanganua msimbopau tu (picha hazihifadhiwi). Bluetooth/USB ni kwa kuchapisha risiti. Arifa ni kwa vikumbusho vya ankara na taarifa za malipo (unaweza kuzizima). Faili ni zile risiti unazochagua kuambatisha tu.

5. Matumizi. Kutoa huduma, kusawazisha na kuhifadhi rekodi, kusimamia akaunti na timu, kuthibitisha usajili, kutuma barua pepe za akaunti na arifa ulizowasha, usalama na wajibu wa kisheria. Hatuuzi taarifa zako.

6. Tunashiriki na nani. Watoa huduma wanaofanya kazi kwa niaba yetu tu: mwenyeji wa seva, mtoa huduma wa barua pepe (Resend), Google Firebase na Apple (arifa), Apple na Google (usajili), na Selcom au Flutterwave ukichagua kulipa kwa mtandao. Tunatoa taarifa pale sheria inapotutaka.

7–8. Uhifadhi. Seva zetu ziko [data location: pending]. Taarifa za akaunti zinahifadhiwa hadi ufute akaunti; kisha tunaondoa jina, barua pepe, namba ya simu na nenosiri. Rekodi za biashara zinahifadhiwa muda wote biashara iko hai. Mmiliki akifunga biashara, inafungwa mara moja na hakuna anayeweza kuifungua tena; rekodi zake za fedha zinahifadhiwa hadi miaka 7 baada ya kufungwa pale sheria ya kodi inapotaka, kisha zinakaguliwa ili kufutwa. Nakala za akiba zinahifadhiwa hadi siku 30.

9. Haki zako. Unaweza kuona na kurekebisha taarifa zako na kuzima arifa. Katika Zaidi → Faragha na Data ya Akaunti unaweza kupakua wakati wowote: nakala ya simu (rekodi zote zilizo kwenye simu hiyo, JSON), data ya akaunti (wasifu, biashara unazoshiriki, vifaa ulivyoingia navyo, mipangilio ya arifa na maombi yako, JSON) na data ya biashara (kwa mmiliki au meneja: wasifu wa biashara, timu, historia ya mpango, rekodi zote zilizosawazishwa na orodha ya faili, JSON). Unaweza pia kushiriki hati kama PDF. Kwa yasiyomo kwenye vipakuliwa (k.m. faili zenyewe, au rekodi za biashara iliyofungwa), chagua Omba nakala kamili au tuma barua pepe support@buziin.com. Tunajibu ndani ya siku 30. Kufuta akaunti: Zaidi → Faragha na Data ya Akaunti → Futa Akaunti, au https://buziin.com/delete-account, au barua pepe support@buziin.com. Maombi ya nje ya programu yanathibitishwa kwa barua pepe kwanza. Ukiwa mmiliki wa biashara, utaombwa kwanza kuihamisha kwa mwanatimu au kuifunga. Usajili wa App Store au Google Play hausitishwi kwa kufuta akaunti; usitishe kwenye akaunti yako ya Apple au Google. Unaweza kulalamika kwa Tume ya Ulinzi wa Taarifa Binafsi Tanzania.

10. Usalama. Mawasiliano yote yamesimbwa (HTTPS), manenosiri yamefichwa, na ufikiaji unadhibitiwa kwa majukumu.

11. Watoto. Buziin ni kwa watu wazima (miaka 18+).
